Short interview with the writer behind one of Sweden’s most popular interior blogs, Inredningsvis.se
Maria Ljungström is the Swedish writer behind the blog Inredningsvis.se. She has a high passion for showing her readers how to create a luxury feeling at home with small tweaks that doesn’t need to cost a fortune. We made a short interview with her and asked her about the trends and her favorites in the interior design.
Which are the strongest interior trends for the upcoming year?
One of the strongest trends at the moment is to use raw natural materials and wood mixed with grey details. Also my favorite colour - pink is expected to be popular trend during the 2016 which I am very happy about.
What type of handles and knobs do you like the most?
Drawer knobs in brass is what I really like even if they do not match with the type of kitchen I have.
What is your favorite material?
It will always be silk and velvet. Both materials are as classic as Chanel and will never be out of date.
Where is your interest towards interior design coming from?
It started already when I was a small child. I used to create huge interior housing project for my Barbie dolls. They looked like Hollywood castles. Since then my interest has only grown during the years and has been adapted to the real life.
