The Baum handle brings together natural materials and modern Scandinavian design in a calm and refined way. Designed by the Danish design studio VE2, the handle highlights the beauty of wood through its clean shape and carefully crafted details.
Made from solid wood, Baum has a warm and tactile feel that adds softness and character to furniture. The gently angled form creates a comfortable grip while giving the handle a light and almost floating appearance on cabinet fronts and drawers.
Available in Nordic Oak, clear lacquered oak, and dark brown finishes, the handle can suit both bright natural interiors and darker, more dramatic spaces. The natural wood tones create warmth and balance, making Baum especially suitable for kitchens, wardrobes, bathroom furniture, and storage solutions where a more organic and welcoming atmosphere is desired.
The shorter 200 mm version works beautifully on smaller drawers and cabinet doors, while the longer 600 mm version creates a stronger visual statement on wide drawers, tall cabinets, and integrated appliances.

Designer
In 2007, VE2 was founded by Morten Lauritzen and Hugo Dines Schmidt, both of whom graduated from the Aarhus School of Architecture in Denmark. Their designs prioritize durability, quality, and functionality.
They have collaborated with furnipart for several years, producing designs like 'Elan', 'Envelope', 'Tau', and 'Autumn'. VE2 focuses on both the appearance and utility of their products. Apart from furnipart, they've also worked with brands such as Skagerak and Zone Denmark.
